IAABC Associate Certified Dog Behavior Consultant
The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants provides globally recognized credentials for animal training and behavior consulting. Achieving an IAABC credential demonstrates a high level of expertise in applying behavior change principles using LIMA-based strategies. This certification requires ongoing education to maintain, ensuring that the latest skills and techniques are continuously learned.
CPDT-KA
Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed is a comprehensive certification that evaluates a wide range of knowledge and skills in ethology, learning theory, dog training techniques, and instruction. It requires ongoing education to maintain, ensuring that the latest skills and techniques are continuously learned.
APDT Professional Premium Member
The Association of Professional Dog Trainers is a professional organization of dedicated dog trainers who strive to improve their skills and knowledge through continuous learning and networking. Members have access to the latest trends, techniques, and industry news, as well as the opportunity to attend the APDT trade show, where they can discover new canine products and practices to incorporate into their practice. Professional membership is only available to those who have earned certifications from organizations approved and recognized by the APDT Board of Directors.
Canine Life and Social Skills. C.L.A.S.S. offers a unique 4-level comprehensive program that includes puppy, basic, intermediate, and advanced levels and weekly homework handouts.

AKC Evaluator
AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy: an exciting program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC): a 10-skill test training program designed to teach good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners.
Advanced CGC (CGCA): AKC Community Canine is the advanced level of AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program.
AKC Urban CGC: a 10-skill test training program that requires the dog to demonstrate CGC skills and beyond in a setting that includes traffic, crowds, noises, smells, and other distractions that are present in a city or town.
AKC Trick: There are five AKC Trick Titles you and your dog can earn.

AKC Novice Trick Dog (TKN)- Your dog performs 10 skills from the Novice list, or 5 if they have already obtained a CGC.

AKC Intermediate Trick Dog (TKI) – Your dog must have the Novice title, plus perform 10 Intermediate tricks.

AKC Advanced Trick Dog (TKA) – Your dog must have the Intermediate title, plus perform 10 tricks from the Advanced list.

AKC Trick Dog Performer (TKP) – In this title, handlers perform a short routine with at least 10 tricks with at least 3 tricks using props.

AKC Trick Dog Elite Performer (TKE) – In the highest level of Trick Dog, the Elite Performers perform a routine that has a story/script. At least 5 props are used.
AKC Therapy Dog: Therapy work involves volunteers who schedule visits to various facilities and locations, such as nursing homes, classrooms, libraries, assisted living centers, hospices, funeral homes, schools, shelters, and courtrooms.
Pet First Aid
American Red Cross Pet First Aid: Training in first aid for dogs (and cats) specializing in what to do until you can get to a veterinarian. Some of the topics include splinting, wound care, poisoning, and other common issues.
